AIM Business School granted Self-Accrediting Authority
AIM Business School is proud to announce that we have been granted Self-Accrediting Authority (SAA) for AQF Levels 8 and 9 in Management and Commerce by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
A Major Milestone
Being granted SAA is a great symbol of AIM Business School’s growth, one that comes after more than a decade of being a registered Institute of Higher Education delivering premier business education to professionals across Australia.
Dr Amela Peric, our Head of School, reflected on this achievement as an “important milestone for our School”.
She said, “Achieving Self-Accrediting Authority marks the next step for AIM Business School and earning this status is recognition of the strength of our academic governance and quality standards.”
We join a small group of private providers who have been awarded SAA. This is a reflection of the hard work that our academic compliance team has put in, and we are very grateful for their dedication.
What Self-Accrediting Authority means for AIM Business School
Earning SAA status enables AIM Business School to self-accredit our postgraduate coursework programs in the same manner that Australian universities do, rather than individually applying to TEQSA for accreditation for each program we offer.
“It provides us greater flexibility to design and update high-quality, relevant postgraduate programs,” said Dr Peric. “With this, we will be able to respond quickly to the evolving needs of industry and working professionals.”
As the business landscape is constantly shifting, evolving, and expanding, this will help ensure we provide the most up-to-date, relevant, and impactful curriculum for our students.
AIM Business School prides itself on being the country’s best business education provider for working professionals, and becoming a self-accrediting institution strengthens our position here.
