AIM Business School Australian Leaders Scholarship – Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for the AIM Business School Scholarships currently on offer, referred to as the ‘Scholarship’ herein.

You must read these Terms and Conditions in full. In accepting a scholarship from AIM Business School, it is understood that you have read and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Scholarship Description

The Scholarship offers a two-unit contribution for the fifth and ninth units of study of the MBA.

The Scholarship will be applied in the form of a two unit contribution thereby reducing tuition fee liability in full for the two eligible units.

Relevant AIM Business School Programs are:

  • Masters of Business Administration

Scholarship Terms and Conditions

  1. The following students are not eligible to receive the Scholarship:
    1. Students who have not received an offer for the Scholarship.
    2. Students who are already receiving other bursaries from AIM Business School.
    3. Students who commenced study in a relevant AIM Business School Program prior to April 22nd 2020.
  2. Scholarship applicants must meet the standard entry criteria and be accepted into one of the relevant AIM Business School Programs.
  3. The Scholarship is awarded based on specific eligibility criteria.
  4. The Scholarship applications are assessed by the AIM Business School scholarship committee.
  5. The Scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver of the Scholarship amount for the duration indicated in the scholarship award letter for study in a relevant program at AIM Business School.
  6. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) units and related admin fees are separate to the scholarship. Upon completion of 4 units and payment of relevant tuition fees, you will receive your first scholarship unit. Upon completion of 7 units and payment of relevant tuition fees (excluding RPL units and the first unit contribution via scholarship), you will receive your second scholarship unit. In the event where due to RPL granted a student does not complete and pay tuition fees for 7 units, the requirement for the second unit contribution under this Scholarship will not be met and will not be applied or be payable to the student.
  7. The Scholarship is not transferable to a third party or redeemable for cash.
  8. The Student must commence study in the intake for which the Scholarship was offered. The Scholarship cannot be deferred.
  9. Scholarship holders are expected to actively progress the unit or units for which they are receiving the bursary and adhere to the academic and administrative policies as laid out in the AIM Business School student handbook.
  10. The Scholarship holder must pay their tuition fees within the stipulated payment deadlines.
  11. AIM Business School does not represent that the Scholarship will be tax free to the recipient. The recipient should seek independent advice on the tax implications.
  12. AIM Business School reserves the right to vary the awards, withdraw or not to offer the Scholarship if:
    1. applicants have not achieved or cease to meet the eligibility requirements of the Scholarship; or
    2. the Scholarship holder has been found to have supplied incorrect or misleading information during the application process; or
    3. the Scholarship holder fails to maintain good academic standing and progress; or
    4. there is a case of serious misconduct by the Scholarship holder; or
    5. the Scholarship holder has failed to meet these terms and conditions; or
    6. in any other case where AIM Business School determines that the Scholarship eligibility requirements have not been met
  13. Students may only be awarded with one scholarship from AIM Business School. There is no stacking or utilisation of multiple scholarships available.
  14. The Scholarship holder may be asked to participate in a photo shoot and complete a testimonial for AIM Business School. If this request is accepted, photo and testimonial content may be published on the AIM Business School website or used for other promotional purposes.
