Mastering Organisational Change Management: Insights from our Webinar

Image
ABS Blog Mastering Organisational Change Management

AIM Business School recently held an informative webinar on the topic Mastering Organisational Change Management, attracting professionals eager to enhance their leadership skills in navigating organisational shifts. Presented by Dr Mo Kader, a facilitator at AIM Business School, this online event delivered actionable insights on key frameworks and strategies for driving successful change initiatives. For those who missed the webinar, a recording of the session is now available to watch.

Quick Takeaways from the Webinar

During the session, Dr Kader outlined the fundamental principles and frameworks of change management as a skill set, demonstrating how they can help individuals and organisations adapt to change effectively. He discussed how these concepts can guide leaders in implementing initiatives that align with organisational goals.

One of the ways that Dr Kader succeeds as a teacher is through his use of metaphor and examples to make concepts clear.

For instance, he compared the change management skill set to a spoon; it is very effective in its intended use (for a spoon, that is eating foods like soup and cereal, while for change management it is for, well, managing change), but the true strength is that it is versatile and goes as far as the ingenuity of the tool user.

Dr Mo Kader is a very engaging speaker and watching this webinar recording gives a sample of what you can expect as his student.

Introducing the Graduate Certificate in Change Management

After Dr Mo Kader finished his presentation around the practice of change management, he passed on the microphone to our admissions team to provide an overview of AIM Business School’s latest qualification—the Graduate Certificate in Change Management.

This qualification equips professionals with the expertise to lead transformative change initiatives, applicable in a variety of contexts. Within this Graduate Certificate is our newest unit of study, Organisational Change Management, which is regularly facilitated by Dr Mo Kader.
