ABS News Upgraded Units Available from May

AIM Business School is excited to announce the launch a new area of study with the unit Organisational Change Management.

This unit, which is available now as an elective in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to navigate and manage change within contemporary organisations.

Introduction to Organisational Change Management

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, change is the only constant. Organisations must continually adapt to new technologies, market conditions, regulatory requirements, and shifts in consumer behaviour. The Organisational Change Management unit has been designed to address these challenges by providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the theories and practices that underpin effective change management.

Course Overview

The Organisational Change Management unit aims to provide a grounding in change management in both strategic and in operational contexts. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, exercises, and practical assessments, students will explore the complexities of managing change and develop the skills needed to lead successful change initiatives in both strategic and in operational contexts.

Key Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the unit, students will be empowered to:

  • Examine organisational contexts relevant to change and their impact on change management adoption
  • Recommend change management models and frameworks to organisational change
  • Evaluate and manage stakeholders throughout the change adoption process
  • Analyse the role of leadership in facilitating and supporting change
  • Synthesise organisational change management strategies and plans
  • Assess the role of people and culture on change initiatives

Why Study Organisational Change Management?

The ability to manage change effectively is a highly sought-after skill in today’s job market. Organisations across all industries are looking for leaders who can guide them through periods of transition and help them achieve their strategic goals. By enrolling in the Organisational Change Management unit, MBA students will gain a competitive edge and enhance their career prospects.

The introduction of the Organisational Change Management unit in 2025 marks an exciting new chapter for AIM Business School and its MBA program. This innovative unit will provide students with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the complexities of organisational change and emerge as effective leaders in their careers. AIM Business School invites all prospective students to explore this opportunity and join a community of learners dedicated to excellence and innovation in business education.

Organisational Change Management’s inclusion is part of AIM Business School’s ongoing commitment to providing students with a dynamic and relevant education. As the business environment continues to evolve, AIM Business School will continue to develop and offer innovative study areas that meet the needs of its students and the wider business community.
